



Pipe Rail Fittings
Pipe Rail Fences are often used as an ornamental yet economical means of code compliance for handicap ramps, stairways and platforms.
They are all recreated from original 19th Century industrial designs.

Pipe Rail Fences are made up of the following different components:
Tee(s)
One bottom opening for 2″ nominal pipe post – Two opposite side openings for 1.5″ nominal pipe rails.
These can be modified for corner conditions and end conditions.
Cross(es)
One top and one bottom opening for 2 ” nominal pipe post – Two opposite side openings for 1.5″ nominal pipe rails.
These can be modified for corner conditions and end conditions.
Flange(s)
One through hole for 2″ nominal pipe post, 4 holes provided for fasteners.
Pipe
The pipe used in these railings can be purchased from nearly any steel supplier.
If you are unable to locate such a vendor, you may purchase these through Architectural Iron Company.
- Horizontal Rails 1.5″ Nominal Pipe. 1.9″ Outside Diameter.
- Vertical Posts 2″ Nominal Pipe. 2.375″ Outside Diameter.
Plug(s)
Used to ‘Fill In’ any opening sized for the 1.5″ nominal pipe where pipe is not required.
This item may be used to limit customizing’ charges on the Tees and Crosses.
